Welcome

Welcome to the Jamestown, West Tennessee (WT) online community established by the Jamestown Heritage Society.

This online community serves as a home away from home for descendants of Jamestown, a meeting place for swapping stories from near and far, a family photo album and a historical archive for those interested in learning more about this incredible place.

Feel free to come often to find out what's happening in JamestownWT.

Jamestown Heritage Society

Jamestown Heritage Society is a 501 (c) (3) non profit, state chartered community-based organization whose mission is to preserve and promote the legacy of Jamestown, a historically African American rural community settled in 1827 where the Hatchie and Mississippi River intersect in West Tennesee.

The Jamestown Heritage Society seeks to encourage continued growth of this great community, through strong grassroots community activisim, historical archives, museums, businesses and merchandise related to this area's history.
